Dust Mask for Brick- kiln workers by Apna Skool

550 dust mask was distributed by Apna Skool at (Vibhu, S.P, Kalra-2, Murari, Indra-2, R.S) brick-kiln, to workers, that can help them to prevent lungs problem, TB, Cough, Asthma etc.

Brick-kiln workers got their Identity (Received labour card) with the help of Apna Skool.

Due to the continuous efforts of Vijaya Didi, the entire team of Apna Skool, and the Labour office in Kanpur, registration camp for the workers of brick kilns,was held from December 23, 2017, to January 4, 2018.The registration of 344 workers and the subsequent preparation of the labour cards at various brick kilns, was possible due to the active intervention and facilitation of the Apna Skool teamwho personally went to the brick-kilns to help in the. registration process. Apna Skoolcoordinators (L.K Shukla and B.N. Sharma) also facilitated in the distribution of the labour cards to workers at the respective brick kilns.

Medical Facility Scheme:

On the basis of the labour card, the registered workers can now avail the medical facility scheme under which they are eligible to receive Rs. 3000 per year.

ईट – भट्टों पर बढ़ती पानी की समस्या

कानपुर के ईट – भट्टों पर काम करने वाले श्रमिकों की दयनीय स्थिति. ये श्रमिक जिन भट्टों पर रहते हैं, वहां पर न उनके रहने की कोई व्यवस्था होती है ,न पीने के पानी की और न ही शौचालय की .
विजया रामचंद्रन दीदी की मजदूरों के साथ बैठक के दौरान गंदे पानी की समस्या सामने आयी. हम सबको इस समस्या पर गंभीरता से विचार व कार्य करने की जरूरत है.
टयूबवेल से कच्चे गड्ढे में पानी भर देते है जिसमें पूरा कीचड़ होता है. यही पानी इन श्रमिकों का परिवार बर्तन धोने ,नहाने और कभी –कभी पीने में भी प्रयोग करता है . यही पानी की इनकी व्यवस्था होती है .
यह एक बड़ी वजह है कि श्रमिक परिवार प्रायः बीमार रहता है. यदि भट्टा मालिक इन गड्ढों को पक्का करा दें तो परिवारों को स्वच्छ पानी मिल सकता है .

टिम -टिम करते तारे

टिम -टिम करते आसमान में,

कितने सारे तारे हैं। 

इनको देखो तो लगता है, 

जग मे सबसे न्यारे हैं। 

नीले - पीले  कुछ चमकीले,

ये तो प्यारे- प्यारे हैं। 

गिंनती नहीं है तारो की,

हो सेना जैसे हजारों की। 

रात  भर ये जगते हैं,

सबसे  बातें करते हैं। 

न जाने सूरज मामा से ये क्यों इतना डरते है, 

फिर भी देखो आसमान हरदम हॅसते रहते हैं।

बेटियाँ

हम बेटियाँ क्या है ? हमें कोई नहीं जानता।  

हम है दुनिया के उजाले ,यहाँ हमें कोई नहीं पहचानता। 

दुनिया करती है अपने ऐशो अराम की खोज। 

लेकिन दुनिया हम बेटियों को, समझती अपने सिर का बोझ। 

हमारा कोई साथ दे या न दे ,चलना हमें है आता।  

बस हमें है जन्म देने वाली माँ की जरुरत । 

माँ मत करना भ्रूण हत्या ,होकर मजबूर। 

माँ हम बेटियों को दुनियाँ देखनी है जरूर। 

करने है हमे कुछ काम ऐसे, जिसमे हो कुछ साथी सच्चे। 

अगर ऐसी माँ हो सबके पास ,तो कितने खुश हो सारे बच्चे। 

हम बेटियों की हो, हमारी खुद की अपनी पहचान। 

हमारे काम से ही जाने ,हमे ये धरती और आसमान ।

Apna Skool participation in Vanya Praani Saptah (1st to 7th Oct. 2017)

Vanya Praani Saptah’17 was celebrated in Zoological Park, Kanpur. An inter-school competitions were organized, in which students of around 45 schools(2000 students) were participated. It was held on 3rd, 4th,6th oct 2017. Children of migrant workers from Apna Skool Education centre competed in the competition. A detail related to the result of Apna Skool Kids is given below:

Ashok (5th) won third prize in "Guitar playing" (Sub junior group)- Apna Skool Tatiyaganj.

Madhusudan (5th)  won  Second prize in "Essay"  (Sub junior group)- Apna Skool Tatiyaganj

Sangeeta (7th),  Indu , Ranjani ,Kamini & Malti  (6th) won Third prize in "Group Song - Geet suhana Gaye Paryavaran....”(Junior group)- Apna Skool Tatiyaganj

Alka and Roli (9th) won  Second prize in "Rangoli" (Senior group) - Apna Skool Dhamikheda
