ची -ची ,चूँ -चूँ करती चिड़िया। 

फुर -फुर ,फुर -फुर करती चिड़िया।

फुदक -फुदककर गाना गाती।

सबके दिल को बहलाती।

रोज सवेरे हमें जागती जगाती।

         पास जाओ तो उड़ जाती।

 Mr. Arvind Gupta from Science Centre IUCAA, Pune visited Kanpur in Feb. 2015. He held a day long workshop on making ‘toys from trash’.

 

Educational Trip to the Kanpur Zoo (18 Feb.2015)

On 18th Feb. 2015 , children (around 300)  from several Apna Skool centres were taken on excursion to Kanpur zoo. Children enjoyed the antics of monkeys and Gorillas, roars of majestic lions and cheetahs, strange Zebras, Giraffes, Black Bears and Gorillas. They were fascinated by the many beautiful colourful fish in the aquarium. While younger were asked to make artwork of what they saw, older ones wrote the list of animals and essays on them. Sumptuous packed lunches of Puri-sabzi and sweets were indeed welcome after an exhausting fun filled day.
