Republic Day Celebrartion

Apna Skool celebrated Republic Day in the Bihar, Jharkhand and Kanpur centre Republic Day is celebrated in India on January 26th each year to commemorate the day when the Constitution of India came into effect in 1950. The Constitution of India replaced the Government of India Act (1935) as the governing document of India, and the country transitioned from being a British Dominion to a sovereign republic.

On January 26, 1950, Dr. Rajendra Prasad was sworn in as the first President of India, marking the completion of India's transition to a republic. This day is a significant national holiday, and the celebrations typically include a grand parade in the capital city, New Delhi, showcasing the military strength, cultural diversity, and achievements of the nation.
Republic Day serves as a reminder of the values enshrined in the Constitution, such as justice, liberty, equality, and fraternity, and is an occasion for citizens to reaffirm their commitment to the ideals of the republic. The day is also an opportunity to honour the sacrifices made by the freedom fighters and leaders who played a crucial role in India's struggle for independence.
Apna Skool students performed dance, songs, and poems on this day, after which sweets and fruits were distributed to all students.
